Unilab WebOrder

WebOrder is a multi functional Order Entry and Hospital Information System and supplements the Unilab LIS with a paperless Order Entry and Result Reporting.

WebOrder offers a distributed Order Entry for internal and external requesters, regardless of the laboratory, for which the order is made. The module overlapping functionality offers a simultaneous requesting of analysis for different laboratory areas (such as clinical chemistry, microbiology, pathology etc.).

The necessary labels (primary and secondary labels) may be printed directly at the requester (together with possible sample taking sheets).

WebOrder offers a continous, detailled overview over all orders, their current processing status and the results - regardless of the location of the requester.

When integrated with Unilab-700, WebOrder prevents a redundant and possible erroneous data storage. Plausibility checks, algorithms and similiar Unilab functionality may be used directly in WebOrder.

By using the Web Browser as a single user interface, WebOrder becomes completely operating system independent and may be used without the necessarity of installing software at the Client PCs.
