The Unilab laboratory solution suite has been successfully implemented in a variety of medical laboratories in Europe.
We are thereby successfully working together with big university hospitals as well as small private laboratories.

Rikshospitalet University Hospital, Oslo, Norway
Rikshospitalet University Hospital is a highly specialised university hospital with national responsibilities within complicated treatments. From 01.01.2009 is Rikshospitalet a part of Oslo University Hospital.
Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet, includes The Norwegian Radium Hospital, Rikshospitalet University Hospital, the National Centre for Epilepsy and The Hospital for Rehabilitation.
After the merger between Rikshospitalet and Radiumhospitalet (Norwegian Radium Hospital) on 1 January 2005, the hospital's overriding objective is to function as a national reference hospital that will safeguard and develop highly specialist medicine within six core areas: transplantation medicine, children's illnesses, women's illnesses, oncology, coronary disorders and disorders of the brain and nervous system.
Currently, 7 independet laboratories with more than 40 online connected analyzers are using Unilab-700.
Haukeland University Hospital, Norway
Haukeland University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Norway. The hospital offers almost every form of medical diagnosis and treatment, with the exception of organ transplantation, which is only done at Rikshospitalet in Oslo.
Haukeland University Hospital is the regional hospital for western Norway. The hospital offers both somatic and psychiatric health-care services to the region's 900.000 inhabitants.
Currently 3 different hospitals along with 8 independent laboratories and 250 concurrent users are using Unilab-700 (with over 70 clinical analyzers being connected to Unilab).
Sykehuset i Vestfold, Vestfold, Norway
Vestfold Hospital Trust offers the people of Vestfold specialist health services in somatic medicine. The hospital also conducts research and is a teaching hospital that provides training for medical professionals. In addition the hospital provides family and patient education for those families with family member suffering from a chronic illness and/or a disability The hospital has extensive functions as a specialized county and local hospital with and a regional function within the field of obesity.
Vestfold Hospital Trust lies in a highly populated area and is part of the South-East Norway Regional Health Authority. A central location gives the hospital an advantage in that more the 300.000 inhabitants have the ability to reach the hospital within one hour.
Unilab-700 has been installed in January 2005, the predecessor (Unilab-3000) was installed by Alphasoft in 1990. Currently 6 independent laboratories (distributed over 3 different locations) are using Unilab-700 as a common LIS.
Sörlandet Sykehus, Norway
Sørlandet Hospital health enterprise (SSHF) provides specialist health care to the population in the Agder counties. The enterprise is responsible for 3 somatic hospitals located in Arendal, Flekkefjord and Kristiansand. For the same region Sørlandet Hospital HF also provides psychiatric care and addiction treatment.
On a national scale, Sørlandet Hospital HF is a large enterprise with a total of 5600 employees (3829 man-labor years). The enterprise deals with 50 000 admissions and nearly 300 000 out-patient appointments each year.
Unilab-700 has been installed as a common LIS for 3 hospitals in May 2005. The predecessor (Unilab-3000) has been installed by Alphasoft in 1986.
Laboratory Dr. Ennen and Dr. Gebauer, Hamburg, Germany
Unilab-700 has been installed in November 2004 in the private Laboratory Dr. Ennen and Dr. Gebauer in Hamburg, Germany. The predecessor (Unilab-3000) has been implemented by Alphasoft in the year 1997.
The installation covers all usual areas of a medical laboratory and offers an efficient module for handling the billing. Unilab is certified by the "Kassenärztliche Bundesvereinigung" under the id Y/207/0801/36/742.
Institute of Aviation Medicine, Oslo, Norway
The Institute of Aviation Medicine contributes to the health and safety of those who fly for research and testing, medical approval of aviation staff, as well as advice upon projects within a flight operations working environment.
The Institute of Aviation Medicine (FMI) is comprised of 30 permanent employees, as well as temporary staff. 7 of the permanent employees are military aviation medicine doctors based at different air bases in Norway.
The FMI is the main centre for aviation medicine competence in Norway.
The FMI laboratory represents a good example for the downward scalability of Unilab-700. Unilab is able to support both big and complex university hospitals as well as small laboratories.
Hospital Betanien, Bergen, Norway
Hospitalet Betanien was inaugurated 1914 in Bergen, Norway.
Hospitalet Betanien has been an emergency local hospital with wards within the fields of surgery, medicine, gynaecology, plastic surgery, as well as having had a maternity and post-natal ward.
Today, Hospitalet Betanien runs a nursing home, a psychiatric centre for adults, a psychiatric centre for children and teenagers (up to 18 years old), a lab, a radiology department and a ward for minor surgery, gynaecology and gastroscopi. Hospitalet Betanien’s services run on demand from and are funded by the Norwegian NHS (National Health System).
The laboratory with it's areas of expertise (clinical chemistry, haematology) is using Unilab-700 since may 2010.
Ullevål University Hospital, Oslo, Norway
Ullevål University Hospital, which is placed in Oslo, Norway, is the largest hospital in Norway and one of the largest hospitals in northern Europe. With a capacity of over 1.200 beds, the hospital is annually treating more than 45.000 patients.
The immunological laboratory of the hospital is working with Unilab-700 since Octobre 2010.
Helse Førde, Norway
The laboratory of Helse Førde is responsible for the handling of the 4 hospitals of the community Sogn og Fjordane:
- Førde sentralsjukehus
- Nærsjukehuset i Florø
- Lærdal sjukehus
- Nordfjord sjukehus
Helse Førde is - together with the hospitals of Helse Bergen, Helse Stavanger and Helse Fonna - respsonsible for the medical provision of western norway.
The microbiological laboratorium of Helse Førde will start up with Unilab-700 in 2011.
Haraldsplass Deaconess Hospital, Bergen, Norway
The new and modern working laboratory of the hospital is handling requirements from the policlinic of the medical unit. In addition to this, there is a comprehensive sample and data exchange with the primary healthcare and other laboratories of the region.
The laboratory consists of 3 units:
- medical biochemistry,
- hematology,
- microbiology
and is accredited by the Norwegian Accreditation.
